Animals and IFAW Land Prestigious Green Award!!

Animals on the Underground and The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) has won the Best Outdoor Advertisement award for excellence in green communications at the 3rd Annual Green Awards™.

The campaign featured posters of eye-catching images of the Animals urging the public to help protect seals, whales and elephants. It ran on more than 200 sites on London Underground and reached millions of commuters across London on their way to work.

IFAW Communications Manager Rosa Argent said: “We are delighted to win this award. We’d like to thank Animals on the Underground for teaming up with IFAW to place a spotlight on the current threats to some of the world’s most iconic species – whales, elephants and seals. Recognition from the Green Awards is important as it will help raise awareness of our work to protect animals amongst a wider audience.”

Animals Lend a Hand

We're are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to create a hard-hitting public awareness campaign to help protect seals, whales and elephants. The campaign will feature a series of 3 posters on 224 sites across the London Underground network.

"These posters will place a spotlight on to the current threats to some of the world's most iconic species." said Robbie Marsland, Director of IFAW UK, "This is a great opportunity to educate commuters and encourage people across London that they can make a difference by taking action in support of IFAW's campaigns to end cruelty".

We hope that the global appeal of the Animals on the Underground will help raise awareness of the plight of real animals who need our protection. More information on IFAW here
